Mario Clash
Mario Clash is a pretty good game. The gameplay is similar to the original Mario game for Atari (the one where you go around and kill the enemies with the use of turtle shells). The use of 3D in this game is excellent, although the sprites are a little undetailed. The sound is bland as well as the music. Sound effects are below average sounding like an old Atari game. This should not be expected from a game that's on a system that supposedly has 16-bit sound capability.
The control is okay, although on ice levels, the sliding is too exaggerated and this causes you to frequently slide into enemies. This wouldn't be a problem if lives were abundant, lifes are diffucult to earn and you can't earn enough to beat the game.
There are tons of levels on this game (I'm guessing about 100), 40 of which you can choose to play from the menu screen. This game is too long for the ammount of lives that you get, making it frustrating and annoying.
